The Importance of Isolation

Ching Shihuang D, the first emperor of China in 221-210 B.C., was the mightiest man of his day. His empire was faster and more powerful than that of Alexander the Great. He had conquered all of the kingdoms surrounding his own kingdom of chin and unified them into one massive realm called China. As part of this process of unification, he outlawed the writings and teachings of Confucius.
