I wonder if the UCI would have some really nerdy rule about you hadn't used old fashioned pint glasses with the handles on the side. That's what Eddie Merck's would have drunk his pints out of. So I think the only danger with that is that it would actually tear your attention away from the hour record attempt to the 10 pint attempt. It was an hour record from start to finish.
