The Tree of the Witch

The main story is that this tree marks the burial spot of a witch. This happened in the 17th century, coinciding with the whole witchcraft trials. There are stories about monks here and if you're here after dark then you might be jabbed in the ribs by invisible fingers. And there's another tale which is that if we wanted to possibly ask the witch herself what happened, if we walk around the tree three times calling her name, she would appear to us.
