You Can't Get Along With Everyone in Life, Right?
There has to be more of a reason behind it than you've just not liking them. It really depends on why they're asking me to stop being friends with that person. This is as long as it's not coming from a place of control. If it's my lifelong bestie, then absolutely not. But if it's someone I've recently become friends with and my partner suggested they might not be a good friend, I would definitely listen and think about the friendship.
