The Importance of Generational Trauma
Edmond Kemper was sent off to live with his paternal grandparents instead in North Fork, a decision that would trigger the onset of his murderous path. He found life with his grandparents stifling and described his grandfather as senile and his grandmother as constantly emasculating him and his grandfather. His first murder was at the age of 15. And while he definitely wanted to kill his mother, he ended up killing his grandmother instead. What he did was he took a gun, went to his grandmother who was sitting at the table and shot her in the back of the head following a heated argument they recently had had.
