As the research from Killingsworth and Gilbert found 47% of the time we are distracted and this harms happiness. Put your phone out of sight. Don't leave it on the dinner table. Don't keep it in your pocket during a walk. That really is a top tip to boost happiness during moments where you want to be present. Obviously these rules aren't true for all of us. Many of us will find happiness in different ways and ways counter to the things I've suggested today. And the age you are can dramatically change what brings you joy.
