The copper bearing i u d is a highly effective, non harmonial, reversible method. It's an excellent choice for women who are on other medications for other medical conditions. One issue with the copper iud has been some increased cramping and bleeding for women. But recent research shows that smaller frame iudes have similar efficacy with fewer side effects.
