During her operative procedure, she remained hypotensive and oliguric. And that persisted after the OR. Her CVP was around zero to two range; normal in a septic patient is six to eight millimeters of mercury. So if you're basically measuring incredibly low pressures on the right side of the heart, because there's very little volume, the tank is so empty. She needs volume and lots of it. That tachycardia tells you she has a normal, healthy heart that is responding and desperately trying to maintain her cardiac output. This could be from multiple causes, either utilization or hypoxemia because of a non-cardiogenic pulmonary edema.
