In 2008, there was a massive collapse at the San Jose mine in northern Chile. There were 33 men missing and they had no idea if they would ever see the light of day again. People came together from all over the world to develop a solution that could get them out through 2,000 feet of rock. "It was one of the more remarkable teaming accomplishments I've ever seen," he says.
