The therapy is ensuring that people don't look at things with a critical judgment, but with curiosity. So the tendency is when you start to break things down and analyze them, that you just become really critical of yourself. A if you get sort of judgmental of yourself, you're likely to feel shameful. And then no learning can happen when when you're so deep in shame that you can't move forward.
