"I would read multiple times a day to them and now we can read things like Harry Potter," she says. "Out loud, it's embarrassing because if you can't read out loud in college, you look like you're not smart." She adds that traditional schooling is not the true measures of what we should be trying to use to determine whether people are making progress intellectually.
