Was Mobile Going to Be a Standalo Mobile or a Verticalized One?

There were a lot of mobile aps that had a lot of excitement an investment, but there were none that were actually building sustainable business. And so what we wanted to do was look at a mobile both as the consumer touch point, but also look at how it would change our relationship with technology. So if i've got a mobileap and i want to turn ito business, i need my users to be more than just them down loading the ap and then disappearing, right? I need to keep them around. I need to show them value. You know, eventually we would figure out how to have them pay for things as well in order to really drive those revenue models.
