What if the Big Bang Didn't Happen?

If gluons didn't exist, then they would have to go somewhere. But I don't think you can kind of frame the question that way because you're kind of saying like, oh, what if the Big Bang didn't happen? This would happen kind of thing. You know, today to our knowledge, quarks can exist by themselves. Unless it's like again, very hot, very dense and in that similar universal beginning environment. Today's understanding of it, that can't really happen. Again, the standard model is still very much incomplete as we've spoken about before.
