The zombi thought experiment provides excellent evidence that if zombis are conceivable, then introspection is entirely unreliable. So what this really gets down to is the fact that the kind of sciousness that is purportedly being explained by panpsychism is a kind of consciousness that has no effect on behavior. Our talking obeys the laws of physics, right? And if that's what you're ning if you're explaining something that literally cannot be reported on, talked about, or have any influence on how we behave, then i don't think you're explaining consciousness at all.
