Pension talks about how in a sense she was Rapunzel and that Pierce has found his way up to her. Every single joke every single rye line can be interpreted as a reflection of how edipa is perceiving the world around her. There's a very soft morgue reading you could say that this is a very large metaphor for dealing with the grief of the love of your life. He never does his own voice he's never himself he's playing uh characters as other people um which I mean usually when somebody's doing an impression and you know them you can tell from their voice that they're who it is but not here.
