Children Are More Capable Than We Give Them Credit For
Children come into the world biologically designed to educate themselves. They are playful and they play at all, but just like hunter-gatherer cultures, play at the kinds of skills that are important for them to learn. We cannot get into a child's mind even if we had a one-to-one teacher, student ratio,. The idea that we have to force children to learn by coercing them has nothing to do with what we think of as education.
