"I think they're in exploration mode about what the final model for all of this will look like, not that there even will be necessarily an end state," says John. You have other side land deed holders, you have coda holders, I mean, like this was my thing." The game is based on user generated content and engagement rather than revenue from selling real-world assets such as land deeds or virtual currency. But if the product itself has no use case, 'there is zero reason for it to exist,' he adds.
