The Drug Cyclosporin - I Love That.

The drug cyclosporin used to be a widely used immunosuppressant and humans sort of fallen out of fashion, still pretty widely used in animals. But it always been relegated or used less because it has a bunch of bad side effects and it's pretty hard to dose. The idea was that if we combined it with a certain other drug which is a metabolic inhibitor, we could solve a lot of the issues while keeping the potency. It started off by looking at some human case studies where they had done this accidentally and then move on to in vitro studies as well.
