What's the Story of XMTP?
XMTP is an extensible message transport protocol. It was created to replace SMTP, which has been around for a long time. The name comes from combining the letters S and T of two other protocols: Jabber and XMPP. "I wanted to sort of convey with XMTP that you could vaguely figure out what this thing should be doing or might do"
