The Megalithic Structure of Nidra

Nidra is the most well known of the multes megalithic sites, and dates to around three thousand 500 b c e. Nidra contains three separate temples, which appear to have been built separately. The temple has been built with an obvious regard for the sun and the solstices. There appears to be no doubt that regard for the activity of the sun is a fundamental part of megalit construction,. right the way across europe and the fertile crescent neolithic connections.
