Is There a Time to Think?
Sports such as football and cricket are quick, with little time to think. But there can be a lot of thinking underpinning what's going on. Different sports will work in different ways - but the key is understanding how much information we give our players. We're often training without scores or an idea of the context of the game. It might be that i actually can lose this game by if i lose by one goal,. so that's going to completely effect the way that i play. And then we get into this idea of an affective training design. My view was that we need some pressure training for performance setting. Can you give me an example?
