A Lesson in Letting Go
i don't know how i'd ever be able to reach a place where there's mutuality without really giving up a fundamental sense of who i am. And iam famously bad at letting goa this is one of the afflictions of the agreeable. If we hadn't an independent standard for for public officials, i'd even set a low bar. I would say, if this person would be fired for their actions if they were running a public company, which is a very low bar. then they probably shouldn't be an elected official any more.
