Is Bitcoin Hard to Steer?

The hard to steer property is very related with the collision resistance. A good hash that's hard to find collisions for, it will be hard to steer conversely. So Bitcoin is actually relying on that kind of hard to steer kind of property. In a sense, the version one hash caches bear for reducing the properties of the hash function you're relying on - and that's why I adopted it.
