The Two Voters Labour Catastrophically Lost at the Last Election
Stephenage was one of the seats that swung to Tony Blair in 1997 by convincing margin. It is a very much commuter town that does represent sort of affluent conservatives, the type of Cameron conservatives that. Labour should be winning and winning handily right now because whilst British Iraq has been able to rally Red Wall England with noises on boats, it is in more affluent areas that he is still struggling. Both groups feel like they're worse off now than they were ex-month of years ago, and that things aren't working for them.
