The History of Number Puzzles

Sudoku is a logic puzzle that involves filling up squares with different objects in rows and columns. In 2012, three mathematicians from the University College in Dublin did about a year of computation after developing an algorithm to find that the answer is 17. A 17 clue Sudoku is solvable while a 16 clue Sudoku or anything below that is not. There are more than 5 billion essentially unique Sudoku puzzles exist.
