The mining process around Bitcoin connects very deeply to notions of time and space. There's a significant light lag between Earth and Mars, which can get as high as like 40 minutes for a round trip signal at their furthest points. This means that the Bitcoin mining industry will never get started on Mars because of this fundamental constraint. Maybe Martians see and want this, so they want to be able to mine. They're going to want to start their own coin, musk coin.
