Is the Reformation a Mistake?

I wanted to suggest that the New Testament's depiction of Jesus and the apostles does not fit with the Roman Catholic Church talks about authority. In this book, I'm trying to argue for a notion of theological authority that I justify by other books. You can't talk about things like the way they were in the Reformation era because we don't live in the 16th century. We live in the 21st century.
