I am incredibly skeptical of that of of the view of the way you look think about history being the origin of totalitarianism I don't know it's a very very weird book in a lot of ways. Popper is trying to reconcile sort of like individual freedom but then also sort of economic egalitarianism and she unfortunately takes the second route.
