What Are the Challenges for New Foods?
There's a huge amount of innovation going on in trying to devise new ways to make food with fewer omissions, with less of an impact generally. The example of this that peopleare proly most familiar with is the plant based meat substitutes. But what about getting at all to market, getting everyone to eat everything that's coming out of it? Well, we know that people are really quite conservative about what they eat. And they can be sceptical and not want to eat things. So there are all sorts of new avenues that we could be exploring. Also farming indoors, using vertical farming systems, using much more efficient means of delivering nutrients directly to crops. We don't quite know whether
