At Stripe, we work hard to extend this approach outside the four walls of our office. Every product design reaches an inflection point, usually after maybe $100 of work or so, when it's first shared with a customer. The extent that you can move that event to the left of the timeline is the extent to which you can spend time building a great product rather than having to guess.
