The Skeptics of the Niaya Sutra
Niaya thinkers tend just to assume that the Primanas must be reliable. This is a theory of default trust in our cognitions, says Ziana. The two schools are indeed in basic agreement on this, he adds. Niaya supplies a further argument that can be used against skeptics who refuse to assumption that the Primana do indeed provide knowledge.
