Roman Catholicism and Justification in the Early Fathers

i think the ecimenical dialogues and conversations have moved a lot of roman catholics in a direction that is close to the reformation. Even trent itself has tons of misunderstandings of the reformation approach, things that are kindo portrayed as the reformation view, but they're just really not off. So it some of it is clearing up of misunderstandings, but some of it, i think, is a genuine moving toward and they're tring to do it within the roman confines of their tradition.
