The amount of eath burned is exceeding the new eth supply. That would make it a deflationry asset, an asset with a supply that's falling every year. Based on these projections, it would take about 11 years or so for ethe to reach a supply of 100 million eth. In total, about seven million eth will not be hitting the open market as a result of the upgrade.
