The Iranian Revolutionary Guards Corps Is Now on the Side of the People
The BBC has identified 40 protesters killed in Iran using verification by social media. It does perhaps seem that violent repression is going to be the regime's most effective weapon here. The Iranian regime has certainly fought back against the protest by clamping down on internet access and there have been increasing violence. They found a disproportionate number of very young victims including children spread out across all the regions of Iran with many ethnic minorities.
