The Problems With Medicare
I think we blundered in this whole you get your healthcare through your job thing. I generally believe that if you can make consumers of products actually care about price, you get more efficiency. The trial lawyers can't get at malpractice with animals the way they can with humans because there's generally a $500 cap on damages for them. A lot of the distortions in the healthcare system come from this mismatch of people not actually, the actual consumers or users of the care feeling inoculated from the actual price as somebody else is sort of covering it.
