Are Black Women More Likely to Return to Work?
The speed with which black women return into the labour market after having children is astonishing by comparison, especially to white women. The opportunity cost of being out af the labour market is incredibly high for them. They are the ones who stay at home most when they have the option to do so. And because yo wase saying, actually, that's a privilege youl, be able to take that time of work and be with your kids, how gendered it is becomes the real question, right?
