Isaiah 61 - I'm the Messiah

Isaiah 61 is the preselected, prescribed reading for that day. So if you go read the early part of John, the wedding feast and those things, those all happen before Luke chapter 4. And Isaiah 61 verse 1 and 2 says, the spirit of the sovereign Lord is on me because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
