The Importance of One-on-One Relationships

Mike: I have nine proximity and schedules. It doesn't matter how much the person loves you or feels they want to learn from you. The single guy who lives within three blocks of here who's a member of my church who makes himself available when I'm available is most likely to be able to have a successful discipling relationship with me. So even if you're a mark, I'm kind of an introvert. And those are the guys I'm going to end up more easily being able to spend time with. Never false if the lead pastor is not deliberately investing himself in one-on-one relationships.
