i try to put myself in a place of desperation at all times, realizing how needy i am. That neediness will keep me dependent. And the christian life is not meant to be. Jesus saves me, and then i figure out how to do it on my own. The drift can be really strong in the culture that we're in that's becoming more post christian. My heart grieves over that. But we have to feed ourselves with the word,. instead of so much of what the culture throws that's going to take us our mind back to him.
