The Conciliatory Approach to Disruption in Parliament
There has been an uptick in disruptions definitely over the last two decades or so. Strict disciplinary measures, for example, banning members from from taking part in parliament procedures have usually been counterproductive. The tendency of speakers in India to take what I call this conciliatory or accommodate of approach could also perhaps be traced. Marwan Kaur's hope that disruptions and disruptive behavior disappear has not come true.
