How I Got Started Drawing as a Kid

I started drawing the Looney Tunes characters and movie posters and VHS back in the day when I had the blank boxes that you could buy for the movies. That's kind of really where I started. It was almost kind of an obsession with perfection, but it really didn't matter what it was whether it was simple lines or something highly realistic. In middle school is when I really kind of met my match. He won the state award for Black History Month and it was all over the museums. And just the definition and realism in his drawings was just outstanding. So I kind of picked his brain and took a few of his techniques to see what was possible and what I didn't know
