We Love You, We Still Love You
John Haig grew up in a Plymouth Brethren household in Northern England. The only book in the household was the Bible, and there was a 10-foot high fence surrounding the house. He managed to get a choral scholarship to Wakefield Cathedral where he sang in the choir. But once back home, very, very isolated. His parents stuck with him to the end. Even when they heard about his trial and the verdict, they said, we still love you. You'll always be the first thing in our hearts.
