The Impossibility of Priestly Celibacy
In the East and the West, a man who has already received the sacrament of holy orders can no longer marry. So even a deacon, say he is married and he gets ordained a deacon and says he becomes a widower. He cannot remarry that fascinating little piece of information. The challenge though for so many of us is does the Lord get to teach me? Does the church get to teaching me? We're coming to an end of this section and the catechism on pillar two and we're launching into pillar three, the morality.
