The Geopolitical Status of China

Peter Bergen: In the next 10 years, broadly, there's two camps that I'm familiar with. There's the Ray Dalio camp, de-dollarization is happening. The American Empire is on the decline. China's on the ascendancy. It's a matter of time and it's pretty much already written. And then there's the other one, which is I see in Peter's eye and which is China's running out of people. They've got this authoritarian government that is ineffective. Before the end of the decade, they're going to have a population collapse,. potentially, you know, everything else collapse.
