Justin, Jamey and Liz sit down with award winning trans actress and activist Angelica Ross (POSE, AHS) to discuss what it means to be protected, who needs protection and what it looks like to be a true protector in a divided world. Through an array of brave commentary, Angelica shares vulnerable stories about her childhood, her relationship with her mother, how humanizing your parents can provide healing and her experience as a trans woman who often catches the eye of conventionally straight men.

Angelica Ross, 41, is a leading figure of success and strength, in the movement for human rights advocacy focused on Transgender and racial equality. As the president and founder of Trans Tech, an award winning program and social enterprise that helps trans people lift themselves out of poverty through technical training and resource sharing, Miss Ross is a tireless advocate for the visibility, equity and access in disadvantaged communities.

Angelica is an award winning actress who had her breakthrough on Ryan Murphy’s Award Winning FX hit series, Pose. The show features the largest transgender cast ever for a scripted series, making TV history!
