The Fall of a Disruption of the Divine Order

In the Genesis account we have here the back story to those short sentences we cited earlier in this episode. We now know why god had to send the flood. The earth was being trashed by evil giants and the humans are being corrupted or eaten. And as men perished they cried and their cry went up to heaven. This passage from Enoch is a very very seminal text for the western tradition. It's depicting that something is dreadfully wrong that god's plan went awry.
