Do You Think That Should Happen at the Federal Level or at the State Level?

In the united states, our legal regime is along the lines of notice and consent. That means that when you access the internet in certain web pages or different apts, you are consenting to your data being gathered and used. In europe, there is such a law called the gdpr that european citizens have giving them more control over their data. So at the federal level, i would definitely live to see something comprehensive that extends to all um americans to give us more control of our data.
