A few years ago, i went to a friend's wedding down in mexico. The flight attendants have to come by and they talk to you if you're in the exit row. A woman says something in spanish, like she doesn't speak english. And this one guy stands up and tells them that he is a language doctor. He tries to translate for the fly detenant who can't understand him. It seemed like the most transparent ploy to get his friend into an exit seats. That being said, when i was younger, when i first started travelling, i thought it would be such a huge responsibility to be able to sit in the exit seat. I think
