The Importance of Electronic Metrics in Quality Improvement
Barry: In order to improve quality, we need to be feeding that quality information back to clinicians at the point of care. He says electronic measures that are integrated into the medical record could be helping to enhance the quality as they're measuring it. Barry: I think policymakers might move forward with generation of electronic metrics and potentially partner with the electronic health record vendors.
