The Importance of Communication in Engineering
I see a lot of engineers wanting to get into the management track as an avenue for empowerment, right? It's like you feel like, Hey, I'm kind of being told what to do. You have to have all the technical chops too and then the communication skills. Think just for the audience, think about that. Get close to customers, understand the business. And it doesn't matter if you're a manager or if you're an end level one or an end level two or a principal engineer, understanding who's using your product is really important.
